Take the SMARTboard tools from the keyboard drawer and place them in the SMARTboard tray. This will tell the SMARTboard software that you aren't using any of the tools and return the windows arrow. Another option is to right-click once. This will also return the windows arrow cursor.
Turn off the autoscan mode by pressing the input 1 and input 2 buttons at the same time.
No. The SMARTboard is designed only for use with the virtual "pens" stored in the keyboard drawer.
Many popular forms can be read by the computers, including floppy disks, 100 and 250 megabyte Zip disks, CD’s, and DVD’s. The computers also have USB ports accessible from the front of the tower and a USB extension cable located in the cable nook. This allows the use of Jump and Flash drives for storage.
Yes. The document camera allows the use of overhead transparencies in classrooms. It also lets the instructor display solid objects like books, newspapers and other items.
The podiums require a key to open. Keys can be signed out from Bill Tally at Instructional Support Services. His phone number is 453-1687. Note that departments may sign out keys for use by all of their faculty, if they so choose.
The remote control for the projector is stored in the keyboard drawer. Use the power switch to turn the projector on. To turn the projector off press the Off button twice. Please lock the reomte back in the keyboard tray drawer.
Document Camera: Press Input 2 on the top switch box.
PC: Press Input 1 on the top switch box, then press Input 1 on the bottom switch box.
Laptop: Press Input 1 on the top switch box, then press Input 2 on the bottom switch box.
DVD/VCR: Press Input 1 on the top switch box, then press Input 3 on the bottom switch box.
Switch to the PC, using the method in the video source question. Then, left-click the computer's volume control in the bottom left of the screen.
Switch to the DVD/VCR, using the method in the video source question. Then, using the controls on either the DVD/VCR remote or the front panel of the DVD/VCR, which is behind the left door of the podium cabinet, switch to the mode desired: DVD or VCR. Then, insert your media into the DVD/VCR.
